Senior Power BI Specialist
Job Description
We are looking for a Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports for IT project portfolio management. The role involves transforming data into meaningful insights, ensuring report accuracy, and supporting stakeholders with data-driven decision-making.
The ideal candidate will work closely with business teams to understand reporting needs, improve existing dashboards, and automate reporting processes.
Responsibilities
Reporting & Dashboard Development
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
- Create paginated reports in Power BI
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance of data
Data Analysis & Visualization
- Transform raw data into meaningful visual insights
- Apply best practices in data visualization
- Identify trends and patterns to support decision-making
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Gather requirements from stakeholders
- Understand business needs and translate them into reports
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data
Support & Improvement
- Provide training and support to team members on Power BI
- Identify opportunities to improve reports and automate workflows
- Maintain and enhance existing reporting solutions
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related field
- Proven experience in Power BI report development
- Experience with paginated reports in Power BI
- Strong knowledge of data visualization and analytics
- Solid understanding of SQL and database management
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
