Key Responsibilities
Engineering Support
Provide engineering guidance for vehicle assembly operations and product development activities.
Quality Improvement
Improve production quality and mitigate risks through engineering changes and product deviations.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work with global assembly teams and stakeholders to resolve manufacturing and supplier-related issues.
Problem Solving
Perform root cause analysis related to paint, fabrication, assembly, and supplier components.
Change Management
Support engineering change management and product deviation processes.
Documentation & Reporting
Communicate project status, issues, and metrics to cross-functional and executive teams.
Manufacturing Optimization
Drive quality and cost improvement initiatives including design validation and testing.
Process Compliance
Support PPAP and iPPAP processes to ensure engineering specifications are maintained.
Required Skills
- Engineering change management experience
- Knowledge of PPAP / iPPAP processes
- Familiarity with PFMEA / DFMEA methodologies
- Strong understanding of GD&T
- Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
- Statistical analysis and data manipulation techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
Preferred Skills
- Experience in motorcycle or automotive industry
- Six Sigma or Six Sigma knowledge
- Leadership and cross-functional collaboration
- Assembly systems and manufacturing process knowledge
