Job Description
The Principal Developer role is a senior technical leadership position responsible for guiding large-scale digital transformation programs, solution architecture, and strategic client engagements. Depending on project requirements, the role may involve acting as a technical advisor to senior executives, leading architecture decisions, managing enterprise-scale delivery teams, or contributing hands-on to software implementation.
The role focuses on driving technical excellence, fostering high-performing teams, ensuring client success, and aligning technology solutions with business goals.
Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Lead and guide large-scale software architecture and technical programs.
- Provide strategic technical direction for enterprise solutions.
- Drive hands-on technical implementation when required.

Client & Account Management
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior client stakeholders.
- Understand client business goals and align technical solutions accordingly.

- Manage client relationships, budgets, risks, and delivery expectations.
- Support pre-sales activities and technical solution presentations.
AI & Emerging Technologies
- Evaluate emerging AI tools and technologies critically.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI for business efficiency and innovation.
- Understand and leverage Open Source ecosystems strategically.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Build and maintain high-performing engineering teams.
- Mentor developers and technical leaders.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and growth-oriented culture.
- Ensure security, privacy, and compliance standards are maintained.
Banking Domain Expertise
- Apply technical expertise within banking and financial services environments.
