Technical Architect

Job Description

A Technical Architect is responsible for leading the end-to-end design, development, and certification of grid-tied (GTI) and hybrid inverter solutions. The role focuses on power electronics architecture, topology selection, control algorithms, compliance standards, product innovation, and technical leadership to deliver reliable and cost-effective renewable energy products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the complete development lifecycle of GTI and hybrid inverter products.
  • Define system architecture, power conversion topologies, and design strategies.
  • Select and optimize inverter topologies such as HERIC, T-Type, ANPC, SiC, and GaN-based designs.
  • Develop modulation techniques including SVM and SPWM.
  • Design and optimize control algorithms such as Anti-Islanding, LVRT, and HVRT.
  • Lead hardware design activities including PCB design, magnetics, thermal management, and power stage development.
  • Perform EMI/EMC analysis and mitigation.
  • Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Ensure compliance with international standards and certification requirements.
  • Manage pre-compliance testing, validation, and certification audits.
  • Collaborate with firmware, hardware, testing, and manufacturing teams.
  • Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) programs and product commercialization.
  • Optimize product cost, efficiency, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership.
  • Coordinate with vendors, customers, and certification agencies.
