Job Description

The Principal Consultant (Oracle E-Business Suite) is responsible for leading Oracle EBS technical consulting, development, customization, client engagement, and production support across SCM, Financials, and Manufacturing modules. The role requires extensive experience in Oracle development tools, RICE components, reporting, documentation, and enterprise support processes.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle EBS Development

  • Develop and customize Oracle E-Business Suite applications.
  • Design, develop, and maintain RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions).
  • Create and customize Oracle Forms and Forms Personalization.
  • Develop Oracle Application Framework (OAF) solutions.
  • Build Oracle Workflow solutions.
  • Develop Interfaces and Data Conversions.
  • Create Oracle Reports and XML Publisher Reports.
  • Develop and maintain Discoverer Reports.

Database Development

  • Write complex SQL queries.
  • Develop PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.
  • Optimize SQL and PL/SQL performance.
  • Support database development activities.

    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)

Documentation

  • Prepare MD070 Technical Design documents.
  • Prepare MD120 Technical Specification documents.
  • Create and maintain AIM documentation.
  • Produce technical design and implementation documents.

Client & Consulting

  • Interact with business users and clients.
  • Lead technical discussions and solution workshops.
  • Gather requirements.
  • Provide technical consulting and solution design.
  • Support implementation and production issues.

Support & Governance

  • Work on Development and Support projects.
  • Follow ITIL processes.
  • Handle incident management and change requests.
  • Ensure best practices and documentation standards.
