Lead Software Consultant

Job Description

The CLM Lead Consultant / Functional Lead is responsible for configuring and managing Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms to meet client requirements. This role acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), guiding team members, troubleshooting configuration issues, and ensuring successful implementation of workflows, templates, permissions, and approval processes within the CLM system.

The role requires collaboration with Technical Leads, Business Analysts, and project teams to deliver compliant, optimized, and user-friendly CLM solutions.

Responsibilities

CLM Configuration & Implementation

• Configure CLM platforms based on client requirements.
• Create and manage:
  • Workflows
  • Templates
  • Approval hierarchies
  • Roles and permissions
• Implement user access policies within the CLM system.

Technical & Functional Support

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex CLM configuration issues.
• Work closely with Business Analysts and Technical Leads to convert business requirements into system configurations.
• Test and validate configurations to ensure functional accuracy and smooth user experience.

Documentation & Training

• Maintain accurate technical and configuration documentation.
• Support user training and post-implementation activities.
• Ensure documentation is updated for future maintenance and audits.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor and guide team members as an SME.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
• Support compliance and process optimization initiatives.
