Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales Development to lead and scale the Sales Development Representative (SDR) function in a SaaS environment. This role is responsible for driving consistent pipeline generation, optimizing outreach strategies, and building a high-performing SDR team.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in enterprise SaaS sales development and has hands-on experience as an SDR, along with proven leadership capabilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the SDR team to achieve pipeline generation targets
  • Define, track, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as outreach volume, conversion rates, and qualified opportunities
  • Develop and optimize multi-channel outreach strategies (email, calls, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Ensure a consistent and high-quality sales pipeline to support revenue growth
  • Analyze performance data and implement process improvements to enhance team productivity
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to align on target accounts and campaigns
  • Create and maintain playbooks, best practices, and training programs for SDRs
  • Build a strong performance-driven and accountable team culture

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of total experience, with at least 3+ years in enterprise SaaS Sales Development
  • Prior experience managing or leading an SDR team
  • Strong understanding of outbound sales processes and pipeline generation
  • Proven ability to use data-driven approaches to improve team performance
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment
