Job Description

The Financial Analyst role focuses on financial analysis, billing validation, forecasting, and reporting to support business financial operations. The position requires strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and expertise in financial reporting and Excel-based analysis. The analyst will work closely with Project Managers and finance teams to ensure accurate financial tracking, variance analysis, and forecasting.


Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Perform detailed billing validation by reconciling invoices with contracts.
  • Identify discrepancies and escalate findings with proper documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain Budget vs Actual reports.
  • Conduct month-over-month variance analysis and explain key financial changes.
  • Generate ad-hoc financial reports and support business initiatives.

Forecasting & Financial Planning

  • Deliver accurate revenue forecasts using structured forecasting models.
  • Continuously improve forecasting methods based on business needs.
  • Develop and maintain cost and pricing models for services.

Project & Business Support

  • Work closely with Project Managers on assigned portfolios.
  • Ensure accurate financial validation and reporting processes.
  • Manage high-volume financial datasets with strong quality control.
  • Support informed business decisions through financial insights and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • UG: B.Com
  • PG: M.Com / MBA Finance / PGDM Finance
