Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Data Analytics Engineer to build and enhance scalable data products, reporting systems, and analytics dashboards. The role involves working closely with business users, transforming raw data into actionable insights, and ensuring reliable, high-performance data pipelines.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in SQL, Python, Spark, and data modeling, along with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities

Data Product Development

  • Build and improve data products based on customer and business requirements
  • Translate unclear business requests into scalable data solutions
  • Deliver end-to-end data projects from requirement gathering to rollout

Analytics & Dashboarding

  • Create dashboards and reporting solutions quickly and effectively
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs
  • Ensure dashboards are responsive, user-friendly, and performant

Data Engineering & Optimization

  • Design and maintain scalable data pipelines
  • Optimize datasets and reporting layers for:
    • Performance
    • Reliability
    • Cost efficiency
  • Monitor production pipelines and resolve issues proactively

Maintenance & Documentation

  • Maintain runbooks and technical documentation
  • Improve monitoring and operational reliability of pipelines

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in data analytics or data engineering
  • Strong expertise in data modeling and large-scale datasets
  • Advanced SQL skills, including working with legacy codebases
  • Hands-on experience with Python, Spark, and SQL
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Data pipeline design
    • Orchestration
    • Monitoring
    • Recovery handling
  • Experience supporting analytics/reporting teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

Preferred Skills

  • Data scientist-level analytical thinking
  • Experience delivering projects independently
  • Financial services domain experience
