Job Description
We are looking for an experienced L2 Cybersecurity Engineer to manage and support network security operations. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and securing enterprise environments using multiple security technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong networking fundamentals and hands-on experience with firewalls, WAF, proxy solutions, and intrusion prevention systems.
This is a critical role requiring 24×7 support readiness and the ability to handle security incidents effectively.
Responsibilities
Network Security Operations
- Monitor and manage network security infrastructure
- Ensure protection of systems against threats and vulnerabilities
- Maintain and support firewall, WAF, and proxy configurations
Incident Management & Troubleshooting
- Handle security incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Troubleshoot network and security-related issues
- Manage change requests and implement security updates
System Monitoring & Optimization
- Monitor system performance and security alerts
- Ensure high availability and optimal performance of security systems
Collaboration & Support
- Work with cross-functional teams for issue resolution
- Provide support in a 24×7 operational environment
- Maintain documentation and follow security best practices
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in network security operations
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
- Hands-on experience in firewall and security technologies
- Experience in incident handling, troubleshooting, and change management
- Ability to work in a 24×7 support environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination skills
