Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Firmware / Embedded Bluetooth Engineer to develop and optimize embedded firmware solutions for Bluetooth-enabled devices. The role focuses on low-level system firmware, Bluetooth stacks, audio frameworks, and embedded connectivity technologies.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in embedded C/C++, Bluetooth Classic & BLE, RTOS-based development, and audio/wireless systems.

Responsibilities

Firmware Development

  • Design, develop, and debug embedded firmware solutions
  • Build system-level firmware using C/C++ and Python
  • Develop and maintain multithreaded embedded applications

Bluetooth & Connectivity

  • Work on:
    • Bluetooth Classic
    • BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy)
    • Bluetooth Audio stacks and profiles
  • Implement and optimize BLE services and profiles
  • Handle Bluetooth/WiFi coexistence and wireless integrations

Audio & DSP

  • Work with DSP and embedded audio frameworks such as:
    • Tensilica HiFi
    • Kalimba
  • Optimize audio performance for wearable/hearable devices

System Integration

  • Integrate firmware with hardware platforms and customer ecosystems
  • Ensure stable performance across hardware and software layers

Documentation & Collaboration

  • Maintain technical documentation
  • Use tools like Git, SVN, Jira, and Bugzilla for collaboration and tracking

Requirements

  • 5+ years of embedded firmware development experience
  • Strong programming skills in:
    • C
    • C++
    • Python
  • Experience with:
    • Bluetooth Classic
    • BLE
    • Bluetooth Audio
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Qualcomm or Broadcom chipsets
    • RTOS
    • Low-power embedded systems
  • Strong understanding of:
    • USB
    • SDIO
    • WiFi
    • Wireless coexistence
