Job Description

The Automation & RPA Specialist will identify, design, and implement process automation solutions across e-commerce operations. This role focuses on connecting multiple business platforms, reducing manual work, and building scalable automated workflows. The candidate will integrate systems, develop RPA bots, automate reporting, and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Process Automation & Workflow Design
Identify repetitive and manual processes across operations, finance, and customer service. Build end-to-end automation workflows using tools like n8n, Make.com, Zapier, and Microsoft Power Automate. Automate order processing, reporting, notifications, and approval workflows.

Platform Integration
Integrate e-commerce and business platforms including Shopify, Zoho One applications, Google Sheets, and QuickBooks. Build API-based integrations and data synchronization between systems.

RPA Development
Develop RPA bots using UiPath, Automation Anywhere, and Power Automate Desktop. Automate screen-based tasks such as data entry, report downloads, and bulk uploads.

Shipment & Logistics Automation
Create centralized shipment tracking using logistics providers like Delhivery, Shiprocket, DTDC, Blue Dart, and FedEx. Automate status notifications, delivery updates, and exception dashboards.

Data Management & Reporting Automation
Automate data capture and reporting using Google Sheets, Zoho Sheets, and databases. Build reconciliation workflows and auto-updating dashboards.

Continuous Improvement & Support
Monitor automation workflows, fix issues, optimize performance, and maintain documentation. Train team members and propose new automation opportunities.

Required Skills

  • 2–6 years in automation or RPA development
  • Hands-on experience with n8n, Make.com, Zapier, or Power Automate
  • Experience with RPA tools such as UiPath or Automation Anywhere
  • API integration using REST, JSON, and webhooks
  • Scripting knowledge (Python, JavaScript, or Deluge)
  • Google Apps Script for automation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience building notification systems

Good to Have

  • Zoho Deluge and Zoho Flow experience
  • Database knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Airtable)
  • Browser automation tools like Puppeteer, Playwright, or Selenium
  • WhatsApp Business API integration
  • AI integration using ChatGPT API or Claude API
  • Version control with Git
