Job Description
An Automation Expert is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying automation solutions for finance operations using IT-governed platforms. The role focuses on automating End User Computing (EUC) processes, improving efficiency through Python, AI, and analytics tools, and ensuring reliable, scalable, and compliant financial automation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze automation requirements and assess technical feasibility.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy finance automation solutions.
- Build and maintain Python-based automation workflows.
- Automate Excel-dependent business processes using Python and Pandas.
- Develop AI-assisted remediation solutions for End User Computing (EUC) environments.
- Utilize GenAI tools and prompt engineering techniques to improve operational efficiency.
- Work with IT-managed automation platforms such as Alteryx.
- Perform data preparation, transformation, analysis, and visualization.
- Create technical documentation, test cases, and deployment artifacts.
- Support production deployment, monitoring, and post-release fixes.
- Troubleshoot and debug automation workflows and Python scripts.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Finance teams, Platform Support teams, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance standards and platform guidelines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within finance operations.
