Job Description

The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) is responsible for ensuring a premium customer experience at the grooming salon. The role involves managing customer interactions, appointment scheduling, store operations, team coordination, sales support, and maintaining high standards of service, hygiene, and brand presentation. The ASM acts as the first point of contact for clients and helps drive customer satisfaction and business growth.


Responsibilities

Customer Service & Client Management

  • Welcome and assist clients professionally.
  • Ensure a warm and positive customer experience.
  • Handle client queries, feedback, and concerns.
  • Build strong relationships with customers.

Appointment Management

  • Schedule and manage appointments efficiently.
  • Coordinate customer bookings and service availability.
  • Manage appointment software and booking systems.

Store Operations

  • Support daily salon operations.
  • Maintain operational checklists and schedules.
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and controlling store activities.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the salon.

Sales & Upselling

  • Promote salon services and membership packages.
  • Recommend additional grooming services.
  • Support revenue growth through upselling opportunities.

Team Coordination

  • Coordinate with stylists and salon staff.
  • Ensure timely service delivery.
  • Manage staff rosters and daily schedules.

Brand Representation

  • Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards.
  • Represent the brand positively to customers.
  • Deliver a premium hospitality experience.

Hygiene & Compliance

  • Monitor sanitization and cleanliness standards.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene protocols.
  • Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients.

Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare daily reports and operational updates.
  • Track customer visits and service records.
  • Support management with administrative tasks.
