Job Description

We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer with strong experience in web and functional testing. This role focuses on building automation frameworks, reducing manual testing effort, and ensuring high-quality product delivery.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Playwright, API testing tools, and CI/CD pipelines, along with a solid understanding of web technologies and system architecture.

Responsibilities

Automation & Framework Development

  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright
  • Create, review, and update automated test scripts
  • Reduce manual testing effort through efficient automation

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Perform functional testing to ensure product quality
  • Create and maintain regression test suites
  • Validate that applications meet business and functional requirements

Bug Tracking & Analysis

  • Report and track bugs using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Perform root cause analysis for defects
  • Work closely with developers to resolve issues quickly

API & System Testing

  • Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, Newman, or SoapUI
  • Understand and test system architecture and integrations

Collaboration & Improvement

  • Communicate issues clearly with the team
  • Contribute to improving testing processes and quality standards

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in automation testing
  • Strong experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins)
  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Newman, SoapUI)
  • Knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, REST APIs)
  • Basic understanding of databases and SQL
  • Understanding of client-server architecture
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
