Job Description

As an Assistant Manager – Product Management, you will be part of the Digital Product team, focusing on building and enhancing online payment experiences across web and mobile channels. This role requires a strong balance of technical understanding, customer-centric thinking, and data-driven decision-making, especially within payment systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define product features with a strong focus on user experience and map KPIs to measure product success.
  • Create detailed user stories and requirements following Agile methodology.
  • Participate in requirement definition workshops (RDW) and backlog grooming with engineering and cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure high product quality standards through robust testing practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across design, engineering, analytics, legal, compliance, privacy, and information security teams.
  • Maintain a healthy product backlog and develop detailed product roadmaps considering timelines, dependencies, and resource allocation.
  • Analyze customer journeys, feature performance, usability testing results, and customer feedback to drive continuous optimization.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for single and multiple digital payment flows.
  • Ensure products align with legal, compliance, privacy, and infosec requirements and approvals.
  • Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude) to track and improve product performance.

Role Requirements

  • 7–12 years of experience in digital product management.
  • Strong experience in consumer-facing products with a deep understanding of technical ecosystems.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Hands-on experience creating:
    • Wireframes
    • Workflow diagrams
    • Product features and user stories
  • Ability to simplify complex systems into clear documentation, flows, and diagrams.
  • Experience with customer research and usability testing methodologies.
  • Proven ability to work with global, cross-cultural teams.
  • End-to-end experience in product lifecycle management, optimization, and new product initiatives.
  • Strong business writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and balance competing needs.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in FinTech, especially:
    • Digital payments
    • Cards
    • D2B / money movement systems
  • Experience with web and mobile marketing and analytics.
  • Experience working in a large corporate environment.
  • Exposure to global financial services or money transfer platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • A/B testing tools
    • Advanced analytics tools
    • Front-end experimentation platforms
