Job Description
Who You’ll Work With
- Work directly with customers, software teams, and hardware teams
- Support all Arista products and EOS networking features
- Use a dedicated lab to recreate and troubleshoot customer issues
- Act as a single point of contact for customers, improving support speed and satisfaction
What You’ll Do
- Respond to customer issues via phone and email
- Help customers during installation, operation, and maintenance
- Troubleshoot network hardware and software issues
- Identify root causes and recommend fixes
- Document issues to help improve product quality
- Work closely with engineering teams to resolve complex problems
- Learn and support new networking features and products
What You Need
- 1–5 years of hands-on networking experience
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Good communication skills (written & verbal)
- Ability to handle complex customer environments
Networking Knowledge Required
Experience with protocols like:
- BGP, OSPF, RIP, MPLS
- IPv4 / IPv6
- VLAN, VRF, STP, RSTP
- ACL, NAT, DHCP, SNMP, QoS
- Ethernet (1G / 10G)
Tools & Skills
- Networking tools: Wireshark, tcpdump, IXIA
- Strong Linux knowledge
- Programming/scripting is a plus: Python, C++, Java, Shell, Perl, JavaScript
Education
- Master’s degree in CS / EE / IT preferred
- Networking certifications and prior TAC experience are a plus
