The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role focuses on Kubernetes operations, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and deployment strategies. The candidate will also mentor junior engineers and collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management
Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform. Optimize resources for performance and cost efficiency.
CI/CD Pipeline Management
Design and maintain multi-branch CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions or equivalent tools.
Kubernetes Operations
Manage Kubernetes clusters including EKS, node groups, and workload optimization. Configure and maintain Helm charts.
Infrastructure as Code
Define and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code standards across environments and regions.
Monitoring and Alerting
Implement centralized monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, and Amazon CloudWatch.
Logging and Observability
Set up logging pipelines using ELK stack, Promtail, and Loki.
Deployment Strategies
Configure advanced deployment approaches such as canary and blue-green deployments for microservices.
Performance Optimization
Drive performance improvements across infrastructure and applications.
Documentation and Mentoring
Prepare deployment documentation, SOPs, and runbooks. Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with development teams.
Required Skills
- 5–6 years of DevOps or SRE experience
- Strong expertise in AWS cloud services
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Infrastructure-as-Code experience
- Shell scripting and Python automation
- Monitoring stack knowledge (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK)
- Git workflows and branching strategies
Nice to Have
- Multi-cloud experience (GCP or Azure)
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Professional)
- Service mesh tools such as Istio or Linkerd
- GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux
