Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, Python, and Bash scripting. The role involves building, deploying, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure and robust CI/CD pipelines in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters in AWS environments (EKS preferred).
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
  • Manage and operate AWS cloud infrastructure including:
    • EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.
  • Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline release and deployment processes.
  • Implement security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines.
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of systems.

Must-Have Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
  • Solid experience with AWS Cloud Services.
  • Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as:
    • Jenkins
    • GitHub Actions
    • GitLab CI
  • Strong understanding of Linux systems and networking concepts.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools:
    • Prometheus
    • Grafana
    • ELK Stack
    • AWS CloudWatch

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
    • Terraform
    • AWS CloudFormation
  • Knowledge of Docker and container security best practices.
  • Exposure to GitOps tools like Argo CD or Flux.
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
