Role Overview

Scapia is looking for a Security Engineer to help build and improve the company’s security systems. You’ll make sure security is part of everything the engineering team builds.

What You’ll Do

  • Review security of web, mobile, cloud, and backend systems
  • Identify risks using threat modeling and architecture reviews
  • Build security frameworks and integrate them into development (SDLC)
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams
  • Promote a security-first culture (training, CTFs)
  • Handle security disclosures and internal investigations

Required Skills

  • 1–3+ years experience in security engineering
  • Strong knowledge of web, mobile, and cloud security
  • Experience building security frameworks
  • Good coding skills in Python, Go
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Experience in manual code review

Good to Have

  • Bug bounty or CTF experience
  • Speaking at security meetups or conferences
