Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 3–5 years of experience to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API testing and mobile application testing, along with hands-on experience in JavaScript-based test automation.

As an SDET, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products by designing, developing, and executing robust automated testing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using JavaScript-based testing tools and libraries
  • Design, implement, and execute test plans and test cases for mobile applications
  • Perform API testing and automation to identify functional issues early in the development lifecycle
  • Collaborate closely with software developers and QA engineers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects
  • Actively participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Continuously research, evaluate, and adopt best practices in test automation and quality engineering
  • Contribute to improving testing strategies, frameworks, and QA processes

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in software development and/or test automation
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • API testing
    • Mobile application testing
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

  • Experience with WebdriverIO
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Exposure to modern automation frameworks and tools
