Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect – Intelligent Automation to lead enterprise-scale automation initiatives using UiPath and AI-driven technologies. This role is responsible for defining automation architecture, driving innovation, and ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant automation solutions across the organization.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and platform vendors to design, govern, and deliver next-generation automation solutions, including agentic automation, IDP, NLP, and Generative AI.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Strategy

  • Define and maintain automation architecture standards, frameworks, and governance models.
  • Design end-to-end automation solutions using UiPath and complementary technologies such as IDP, NLP, and GenAI.
  • Lead architecture reviews and contribute to AI governance and enterprise architecture boards.
  • Evaluate and select automation technologies, platforms, and tools aligned with business goals.
  • Own technical evaluations, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), Proof of Technology (PoTs), pilots, and innovation initiatives.

Technical Leadership

  • Own the full bot development lifecycle across multiple automation PODs.
  • Guide teams through solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Oversee integration with SaaS platforms, APIs, and enterprise systems.
  • Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and ethical AI standards.
  • Drive performance optimization and scalability of automation solutions.

Collaboration & Enablement

  • Evaluate business processes for automation potential and conduct feasibility studies.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable and reusable automation architectures.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with UiPath and third-party vendors on roadmap alignment.
  • Mentor technical leads and developers, ensuring knowledge transfer and best practices.
  • Maintain clear architecture documentation and design artifacts.

Governance & Innovation

  • Define governance models for UiPath SaaS products (Process Mining, Document Understanding, AI Center).
  • Drive innovation in agentic automation and intelligent orchestration.
  • Monitor, measure, and optimize automation performance and ROI.
  • Promote continuous improvement through automation analytics and insights.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years in application development.
  • 5+ years in RPA solution architecture or automation solution design.
  • Proven success delivering enterprise-scale automation programs with complex integrations.
  • Expert hands-on experience with UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, REFramework, AI Center, and Studio Web.
  • Hands-on experience with IXP, Document Understanding, and AI Center.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), APIs, and SOA.
  • Experience integrating with Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, SharePoint, and databases.
  • Proficiency in C#, VB.NET, Python, Java, SQL, and API integration.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git), and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Familiarity with IDP, NLP, Generative AI, Process Mining, and ML concepts.
  • Strong understanding of secure automation, credential management, and compliance.
  • Flexibility to work in US time zones preferred.

Mandatory Skills

  • Expert-level proficiency in UiPath (Studio, Orchestrator, REFramework).
  • Strong RPA architecture, solution design, and delivery expertise.
  • Proficiency in C#, VB.NET, Python, SQL, and API integrations.
  • Experience with Azure/AWS and hybrid RPA deployments.

Secondary Skills

  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Exposure to AI/ML, OCR, IDP, and process optimization techniques.

Preferred Certifications

  • UiPath Solution Architect (UiARD) or Advanced RPA Developer certification.
  • Cloud certifications (Azure / AWS).
  • Agile / Scrum certifications.
