Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Selenium, and Healthcare domain knowledge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts while ensuring high-quality software delivery for healthcare applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to validate functionality, performance, and system behavior.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium with Java.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for healthcare applications.
  • Work with XML, JSON, and text files for test data handling and validation.
  • Utilize SQL queries for data verification and backend testing.
  • Ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements in US Healthcare domain including Providers, Payers, Health Plans (HMO, PPO), Medicare & Medicaid.
  • Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Identify defects, analyze root causes, and work with developers to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with QA, Development, and Business teams to ensure top-notch application quality.
  • Maintain detailed test documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Java programming for automation development.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver & automation frameworks.
  • Working expertise in file handling using Java (XML, JSON, .txt).
  • Good understanding of US Healthcare domain (Providers, Payers, HMO, PPO, Medicare, Medicaid).
  • Strong skills in SQL for database testing.
  • Experience working in Agile environments with participation in full Scrum lifecycle.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in QA Automation within Healthcare projects.
  • Knowledge of BDD tools like Cucumber or similar.
  • Familiarity with Enrollment systems is a plus.

Education

  • UG: Any Graduate
