🔑 Must-Have Skills

  • Strong hands-on expertise in PHP, including session management and server-side logic
  • Experience working on Linux with good command-line knowledge
  • In-depth understanding of MySQL database design, optimization & query profiling
  • Good skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery
  • Working experience with MVC frameworks — Yii preferred, or alternatives like Laravel / Symfony
  • Ability to analyze performance and optimize slow queries

🌟 Good to Have

  • Participation in programming contests (e.g., HackerRank) — share rankings if available
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Strong multitasking & organizational skills
  • Experience with:
    • AngularJS / RESTful APIs / AJAX
    • Writing well-tested code using Behat, Codeception, PHPUnit
    • Version control systems like Git / Mercurial
