Operations Head

Job Description

The Operations Head will lead and optimize operational processes across multiple financial products, with a strong focus on Mutual Fund operations. The role involves managing teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

⚙️ Operations Management

• Take complete ownership of operations across all products
• Develop process notes for mutual fund transactions, queries, and escalations
• Coordinate with external stakeholders:
  • RTAs
  • Exchanges
  • AMCs
  • Payment Aggregators
• Collaborate with internal teams:
  • Sales
  • Product
  • Finance
  • Compliance
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness

👥 Team Management

• Recruit and mentor Operations Executives
• Monitor day-to-day operations and performance
• Conduct regular performance reviews
• Improve query resolution and team productivity

📋 Compliance

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and legal requirements
• Maintain compliance with company policies and ethical standards
• Handle regulatory complaints and escalations

📊 Reporting & Analytics

• Prepare operational performance reports for senior management
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions
• Use data-driven insights to improve processes

Education & Experience

• Graduate / MBA preferred
• 6–10 years of experience in Mutual Fund operations
• Prior team management experience mandatory
