Job Description

We are looking for a motivated MERN Stack Developer Intern with a strong foundation in Node.js and a passion for full-stack web development. You will work on real-world projects, assisting in building and maintaining scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.js
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs with React.js front-end components
  • Understand end-to-end feature requirements and contribute to solution design
  • Work with MongoDB for database operations and schema design
  • Debug, test, and optimize application performance (frontend & backend)
  • Collaborate with the team to convert business requirements into technical solutions
  • Use Git/GitHub and follow clean coding practices
  • Assist in deploying applications on Vercel, Heroku, Netlify, or AWS
  • Support task planning, estimation, and scheduling activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / BCA / MCA / B.Tech or related field
  • 0–6 months of hands-on experience in MERN / Node.js development

Technical Skills

Frontend:

  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
  • React.js, TypeScript, Next.js, jQuery

Backend:

  • Node.js (Mandatory), Express.js
  • REST APIs, JWT authentication

Database:

  • MongoDB, Mongoose
  • Basic knowledge of MySQL

Tools & Others:

  • Git / GitHub
  • MVC Architecture
  • CRUD Operations
  • Cloud deployment tools (Vercel, Heroku, Netlify – added advantage)

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
