Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and result-driven Field Sales Executive to promote and sell solar rooftop solutions across residential, institutional, and commercial segments. The role involves extensive fieldwork, direct client interactions, and collaboration with internal teams to achieve sales targets.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable meeting customers on-site, building long-term relationships, and educating clients about the benefits of solar energy solutions. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys outdoor sales, has strong communication skills, and is passionate about renewable energy.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and meet institutions, industries, homeowners, architects, and contractors to promote solar rooftop solutions
  • Generate leads through field visits, references, and networking
  • Present and explain solar rooftop systems, pricing, and ROI benefits to customers
  • Convert leads into successful sales and achieve monthly and quarterly targets
  • Work closely with the sales team to plan and execute sales strategies

Client Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and channel partners
  • Conduct site visits to understand customer requirements and provide suitable solutions
  • Address customer queries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Coordinate with technical and operations teams for smooth project execution

Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, and sales progress
  • Submit regular sales reports and updates to the management
  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
  • Support marketing and promotional activities when required

Required Qualifications

Education

  • UG:
    • B.Com – Any Specialization
    • B.B.A / B.M.S – Any Specialization
    • B.Tech / B.E. – Any Specialization

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Experience or interest in solar sales and marketing
  • Strong background in outdoor/field sales
  • Good understanding of business development practices
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in Malayalam (mandatory); English is an added advantage
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel extensively
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and team player
  • Basic knowledge of renewable energy or willingness to learn

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience in solar or power industry sales
  • Experience dealing with architects, contractors, or builders
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and convincing manner
