Job Description

The HTML Quality Analyst will ensure the accuracy, functionality, and quality of HTML email campaigns created in marketing automation platforms such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Adobe. The role focuses on email coding, testing, QA, and troubleshooting to ensure campaigns render correctly across devices and email clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-to-end testing of email campaigns including A/B testing
  • Ensure compliance with email marketing best practices, data privacy, and anti-spam regulations
  • Create, modify, test, and deploy HTML email templates
  • Perform detailed QA checks on email content, links, personalization, and landing pages
  • Troubleshoot rendering issues across Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, and multiple devices
  • Work closely with marketing, project managers, developers, and technical teams
  • Maintain documentation for templates, coding standards, QA processes, and SOPs
  • Use ticketing/request management tools to track updates and progress
  • Prepare and submit required reports for clients and leadership
  • Stay updated on the latest email marketing trends and technologies

Required Skills

  • Strong HTML knowledge (hand-coded, responsive emails)
  • Experience with Braze / Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) / Adobe
  • Email testing tools and cross-client rendering techniques
  • Excellent attention to detail & quality assurance
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Technical Knowledge (Good to Have)

  • CSS & JavaScript (basic)
  • Personalization scripting: AMPscript, Server-side JavaScript, Liquid
  • Email deliverability and anti-spam best practices
  • Marketing automation concepts & customer journeys

Role Expectations

  • Individual contributor role with defined scope of work
  • Work primarily within own team and reporting manager
  • Handle routine tasks using standard procedures and guidelines
