Job Description

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop, server, and network systems (Windows, Linux, and macOS).
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot hardware such as laptops, desktops, printers, and networking devices.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining security measures, including antivirus, firewalls, and access controls.
  • Support IT asset management, inventory tracking, and documentation.
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets, providing timely and effective technical support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for system upgrades or issue resolution.
  • Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform Linux server administration tasks such as user management, permissions, and file system maintenance.
  • Monitor and manage Linux services (e.g., Apache, Nginx, SSH, cron jobs) and ensure uptime.
  • Apply patches, manage updates, and automate routine Linux administrative tasks using shell scripting.

Requirements

Experience: 3 5 years in System Administration (preferably Linux environment)

Required Skills

  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think quickly and logically.
  • Excellent time management and efficiency; capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible with rotational shifts and rotational week-offs.
  • Proficient in Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Basic knowledge of networking, ticketing systems, and IT support processes.
  • Hands-on experience with system setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in shell scripting, process automation, and log analysis in Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with package management (YUM/APT), system monitoring tools, and service configuration.
