Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Azure Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure cloud and hybrid network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Azure networking, security, and connectivity solutions, along with hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex network environments.

This role focuses on building secure, scalable architectures while ensuring compliance with organizational and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Azure Network Design & Implementation

  • Design and deploy Azure Virtual Networks (VNet), subnets, route tables, and UDRs.
  • Implement network segmentation for secure and scalable architectures.
  • Configure and manage:
    • Azure Firewall
    • Application Gateway & Web Application Firewall (WAF)
    • Load Balancers (ALB/ILB)
  • Set up Private Endpoints, Service Endpoints, and Private Links.
  • Build secure architectures for applications, databases, and cloud services.

🔹 Hybrid Connectivity

  • Configure and manage:
    • VPN Gateways
    • Site-to-Site VPNs
    • Azure ExpressRoute
  • Integrate on-premises infrastructure with Azure securely and efficiently.

🔹 Network Security & Compliance

  • Implement Azure security controls:
    • Network Security Groups (NSGs)
    • Application Security Groups (ASGs)
    • Firewall policies
    • Zero Trust architecture
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and industry security standards.
  • Monitor and analyze security events using:
    • Azure Monitor
    • Microsoft Defender for Cloud
    • Log Analytics

🔹 Operational Support & Troubleshooting

  • Troubleshoot complex cloud and hybrid network issues.
  • Perform packet capture and routing analysis.
  • Resolve latency, bandwidth, and connectivity issues.
  • Provide ongoing operational support and optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in Azure networking and cloud security.
  • Hands-on expertise with:
    • VPN, ExpressRoute, Firewalls, Load Balancers
    • Network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • Good understanding of:
    • Cloud networking architecture
    • Security best practices and compliance frameworks
  • Experience in hybrid cloud environments (on-prem + Azure).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
    • Computer Science / IT / Networking or related field
  • Relevant Azure certifications (preferred):
    • Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700)
    • Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
