About the Role
As a GCP Observability Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and implementation of enterprise-scale applications within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment. Your expertise in observability services will ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of systems that support critical business operations.

👥 The Team

You will be part of the Observability and Application Services team within Digital Technology Services (DTS).
This team designs, builds, and maintains large-scale data-driven systems that support corporate applications, shared services, and information security functions.
This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-growing team that delivers real value using modern cloud platforms and observability solutions.

🛠 Responsibilities & Impact

  • Serve as the GCP technical lead for a rapidly expanding environment.
  • Design and implement integrations to support large-scale observability and data pipelines in GCP.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for reliable deployments.
  • Deploy OpenTelemetry at scale for monitoring, APM tracing, and performance tuning.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, architecture diagrams, and technical presentations.

🎯 Basic Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
  • Proven expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) at enterprise scale (with relevant certifications).
  • Strong scripting/coding skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Experience using Git and working with CI/CD pipelines.

✨ Soft Skills

  • Ability to present technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.

🌟 Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform.
  • Familiarity with enterprise observability tools.
  • Knowledge of Agentic AI workflows and LLM Observability concepts.
