Job Description

  • Drive revenue and profit growth for programs and services within targeted accounts.
  • Build strong customer relationships using a consultative sales approach.
  • Convert strategic competitive accounts and introduce new technologies to existing customers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers by delivering system assurance programs aligned with their business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute sales strategies to achieve territory revenue and profit growth targets.
  • Identify and close new opportunities within existing accounts and competitively held accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, including plant and facility leadership.
  • Analyze customer systems, interpret operational data, and provide written recommendations for performance improvement.
  • Stabilize and recover at-risk (jeopardy) business in large strategic accounts.
  • Coach and train District Representatives, supporting team development and corporate initiatives.
  • Plan and lead portions of district meetings and sales activities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal technical service teams to deliver customer solutions.

Territory & Travel

  • Position is based in an assigned territory.
  • Territory covers a defined radius in surrounding areas.
  • Target customers operate within assigned industries.
  • Overnight travel is required as part of the role.

Training & Development

  • Participate in structured training programs conducted in the field and at company headquarters.
  • Training includes product knowledge, technology, service delivery, business acumen, sales leadership, and certifications.
  • Travel for training is fully arranged and paid for by the company.
  • Relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales or field sales support.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial) or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.).
  • Experience in water treatment or specialty chemical industries.
  • Working knowledge of OR operations, wet-end chemistry, or pulp mill operations.
