Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Engineer to join our growing data engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and architectures that support analytics, reporting, and data science initiatives across the organization.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on data pipeline builder who enjoys working with large, complex datasets and is passionate about improving data systems from the ground up. You will collaborate closely with software developers, database architects, data analysts, and data scientists to ensure reliable and efficient data delivery across platforms and products.

📌 Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data architectures
  • Assemble and process large, complex datasets to meet functional and non-functional business requirements
  • Optimize data flow, ingestion, and transformation processes
  • Develop processes for data transformation, metadata management, dependency handling, and workload orchestration
  • Work with structured and unstructured data sources
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability across systems
  • Support cross-functional teams with reliable and well-documented data solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve data architecture and performance
  • Apply strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple data initiatives

✅ Required Skills & Experience

Data Engineering & Databases

  • Strong experience with relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases
  • Understanding of data structures, metadata management, and analytics workflows
  • Experience handling unstructured and semi-structured datasets

Programming & Scripting

  • Proficiency in Python (preferred)
  • Experience with Java, C++, or other object-oriented / functional programming languages
  • Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
