About the Team
The Conversational AI (CAI) unit at Allianz Technology is responsible for designing, delivering, and operating Chatbots and Voicebots for Allianz entities worldwide.
The Technical Excellence Squad within CAI focuses on:
- Day-to-day platform operations
- Compliance and proactive operational excellence
- Technical consulting and ticket management
This role is for an expert in Cognigy, responsible for AI Operations and chatbot development, ensuring stable, scalable, and high-quality conversational AI solutions.
Job Summary
We are seeking an Operations Support Specialist – Cognigy to support, operate, and enhance enterprise-grade conversational AI solutions built on the Cognigy platform.
The ideal candidate will handle platform operations, incident management, bot debugging, chatbot development, and continuous optimization, working in a fast-paced global environment.
Key Responsibilities
Cognigy Platform Operations
- Provide day-to-day operational support for the Cognigy platform.
- Handle incidents, troubleshoot issues, and provide immediate resolutions.
- Monitor platform health, performance, and availability.
- Support chatbot and virtual assistant deployments.
Bot Debugging & Incident Resolution
- Identify, diagnose, and fix issues in existing chatbots.
- Analyze Cognigy logs and platform behavior to resolve defects.
- Apply best practices to improve bot stability and prevent recurring issues.
Bot Development & Enhancement
- Design, build, and deploy chatbots using the Cognigy platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into conversational flows.
- Continuously enhance bot intelligence, efficiency, and user experience.
User Support & Enablement
- Act as the primary point of contact for Cognigy-related support queries.
- Conduct training sessions for internal teams and stakeholders.
- Provide guidance on best practices and platform usage.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed documentation for:
- Workflows
- Troubleshooting guides
- Operational processes
- Prepare SLA reports and recurring operational dashboards.
- Track incidents, resolutions, and improvement actions to closure.
Continuous Improvement & Governance
- Identify opportunities to improve platform efficiency and automation.
- Stay updated with the latest Cognigy and Conversational AI advancements.
- Support compliance, ITIL processes, and internal audits.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- UG: Any Graduate | PG: Any Postgraduate
Experience
- 5+ years in operations support or similar roles
- Hands-on experience with conversational AI platforms (preferably Cognigy)
Technical Skills
- Conversational AI & Chatbot Platforms (Cognigy preferred)
- NLP (Natural Language Processing) & AI fundamentals
- Bot debugging and troubleshooting
- Scripting: JavaScript, Python (Java is a plus)
- API integrations
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure
- Data analytics and reporting
- ITIL & Service Management basics
Functional & Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Customer-facing / stakeholder interaction experience
- Ability to prepare:
- Management presentations
- MOMs and action trackers
- SLA and operational reports
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in global teams
Administrative & Compliance Responsibilities
- Maintain decision logs, MOMs, and action trackers
- Support internal security awareness and compliance initiatives
- Validate and report on new platform features and releases
