Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented City Sales Manager – Inside Sales to lead and scale our inside sales operations in Bangalore. The role focuses on driving resident acquisition, managing key client relationships, and consistently achieving city-level sales targets through phone, email, and virtual sales channels.

The ideal candidate will bring strong people leadership, hands-on sales expertise, and a proven ability to manage performance-driven inside sales teams in B2C/B2B environments.


Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of inside sales executives to achieve high performance
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and feedback discussions
  • Train team members on sales scripts, objection handling, product offerings, and CRM usage
  • Set individual KPIs, monitor productivity, and ensure accountability across the team
  • Foster a high-energy, results-driven sales culture

Sales Target Ownership & Execution

  • Own and achieve monthly and quarterly city-level sales targets
  • Develop and execute inside sales strategies aligned with business goals
  • Track pipeline movement, lead-to-conversion ratios, and closure timelines
  • Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions promptly

Client & Account Management

  • Manage key customer accounts and corporate relationships
  • Handle sales escalations, complex negotiations, and exception cases
  • Ensure professional communication standards across all customer touchpoints
  • Maintain long-term client relationships to improve retention and referrals

Lead Generation & Market Intelligence

  • Oversee inbound and outbound lead qualification processes
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on lead generation campaigns
  • Analyze competitor activity, pricing trends, and demand patterns in Bangalore
  • Recommend improvements in sales processes, scripts, and engagement channels

Reporting, Analytics & Forecasting

  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly sales performance reports
  • Track and analyze KPIs including:
    • Conversion rate
    • Average deal value
    • Pipeline health
    • Team productivity
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and market insights to leadership

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline

Experience

  • 4–6 years of experience in Inside Sales / B2C Sales
  • Minimum 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Proven experience managing high-volume sales teams

Skills

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Data-driven decision-making ability
  • Team coaching, motivation, and performance management
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Workspace

Industry Exposure

  • Experience in real estate, co-living, hospitality, or rental markets is an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in SaaS or subscription-based business models
  • Knowledge of Bangalore’s rental or co-living ecosystem
  • Certification in Sales Management or Leadership
  • Experience managing virtual sales teams or remote selling environments
