Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Application Support Engineer who will act as a “software detective” to ensure seamless functioning of critical business systems. You will be responsible for identifying application issues, analyzing performance, and ensuring smooth operations that support end users and business workflows.

This role involves problem-solving, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing efficient technical solutions to enhance system stability and user experience.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Act as an SME to independently troubleshoot and resolve application issues
  • Monitor and support multiple system components ensuring uptime and performance
  • Participate actively in team discussions and contribute to solution design
  • Communicate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide status updates
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
  • Assist in documenting technical processes, knowledge articles, and best practices
  • Ensure proper integration and data flow between EPIC modules
  • Provide timely escalation and coordination for critical incidents

Professional & Technical Skills

Must-Have Skills

  • Expertise in EPIC Systems application support
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and performance monitoring
  • Knowledge of system integrations and data flow management
  • Ability to translate technical information for non-technical users

Good to Have Skills

  • Experience with SQL / PL-SQL / MySQL / T-SQL
  • Unix / Shell Scripting exposure
  • Familiarity with healthcare IT workflows
  • Basic knowledge in GCP, BigQuery, SSIS, SSRS, Data Lakes, or Python
